What is Glooq?
Glooq is the software engine that powers the email banners. It was developed and is owned by an Israeli hi-tec company called Revolutionare. The Creative Clinic is proud to represent Glooq in the UK and is providing a value-added service by using this outstanding software to help businesses, charities and individuals to communicate more effectively and efficiently. We do this by creating powerful and distinctive banners and by managing client's campaigns on their behalf. The Glooq software is already being used and endorsed by hundreds of leading organisations worldwide including HP and Daihatsu. Now The Creative Clinic is helping to bring this to a wider market.
What do I need to do to send emails with embedded banners?
Generally speaking, The Creative Clinic, along with our Glooq partners in certain cases, will manage your banner 'campaigns' on your behalf. We'll set you up, design your banners, upload them to our server and manage your campaign. You just carry on sending and receiving email in exactly the same way as you were before and your selected banner will be automatically added once they have been sent. The process is simple and in the background, leaving you free to carry out your business.
If you have one banner, this will be attached to each email you send (unless you decide you'd rather not attach it). If you have more than one banner you may decide to send these randomly, or send certain banners to certain people, or certain banners at certain times. You may also decide that particular people in your organisation should send particular banners, perhaps related to their department or position.
If at any time you need your 'campaign' managed or changed – or a new banner created – speak to us and we will facilitate this for you. For clients using POP email, sending Glooq banners requires a small change in your email settings that will take less than one minute to make and requires no technical knowledge at all.
For clients using mail exchange software the process can be almost as easy. In some cases, particularly companies with many users, we may recommend installing the Glooq software within your own organisation and allowing you to manage your own campaigns. In order to ensure that every client and every type of organisation will be able to use Glooq, it has been made compatible with all of the most popular email servers available in the market today, primarily the following:

The most common concern people have about Glooq banners are that people won't see them within the body of the recipient's email or that they will be blocked by a spam filter or firewall. Although it would be impossible to offer a 100% guarantee that this will never happen (especially in a stringent environment where no images are ever allowed through) the fact that the email invariably comes from a known and trusted source and that Glooq banners have passed tests on leading spam blockers, means you can be confident of its delivery.
Banner content will be a JPG, animated GIF or text - all very email client-friendly formats that most people can see without any struggle. We don't use Flash or video formats as they are often not supported and require 'plug-ins' to be installed before they can be viewed. Therefore, Glooq banners can be seen in all of the most popular email clients, with content displayed as follows:
In order to ensure mail deliverability we have scrutinized the Glooq engine in leading spam filters worldwide. An email containing Glooq banners creates very low spam scores since it arrives from a known sender from a trusted domain. How much does this service cost?
Because the service is provided on a per-user basis – that is to say that each individual email address the banners get attached to is considered one user – the product is fully scalable and cost effective, whether a business or organisation has one person or thousands of people working for it.
As a guide, a business of 1-3 users will pay £240 + VAT per user, per year on a 12 month contract. This subscription cost provides a software license and campaign management by The Creative Clinic, for one year and ensures that each user's emails will be sent with an embedded banner where required during that period. The more users there are in an organisation, the more cost-effective the product becomes, as clients benefit from reducing subscriptions and shared banners.
The cost of banner design and creation is an additional fee of £125 + VAT for a static (non-animated) banner and £200 + VAT for an animated banner. However all users can share one banner if required: the cost is per banner, not per user. Discounts are available off the cost of your first banner, depending upon how many licenses you take. Further users and banners are chargeable at the standard rates, unless otherwise agreed.
We offer a 'starter package' of a single-user 12 month subscription with one animated banner at a special cost of £420 + VAT. A three-user 12 month subscription with one animated banner is available for £880 + VAT.
Obviously clients can have as many banners as they like and change them as required. The Creative Clinic provides favourable rates when 'bulk-buying' banners and will consider individual cases on their own merits – for instance, a client who intends to make very regular updates would not be expected to pay anything close to our standard banner rate.
We are also pleased to offer reduced fees to registered charities. Enquiries welcome.For clients of a larger size, a more cost effective solution may be to purchase perpetual licences and install the Glooq software on local servers, rather than using the ASP model more suitable for smaller organisations. The Creative Clinic would still produce the banners in this circumstance and we can discuss this model in more detail where appropriate.
Whichever way you look at it, this is a phenomenally cost-effective way to be marketing on a continual basis, especially when you compare the cost to other methods of advertising and promotion.

We will arrange for one of our team to contact you to discuss your specific requirements and take an initial creative brief.
You will need to sign a 12 month agreement and pay for your annual subscription and initial banner in advance. We will then set you up on our system, produce your banner and have you up and running within a maximum of ten working days.
From then on, we will work with you to manage your banner campaigns and produce additional banners or set up additional users as and when you may require our services.
