Although already established as self defence training school, when the company directors decided to expand their operation with a new state-of-the-art premises and ambitious growth plans they came to Creative Clinic to support them in their branding, advertising, marketing and digital plans.
DSDA didn’t want to move too far away from their previous branding, so we gave the logo a refresh, toning down the colours and improving its readability. The more dramatic change came through the creation of a firm but comforting, bold but welcoming written and visual language across all brand communications.
We established a new and definitive colour palette, assigning each martial art or discipline with a colour that was carried consistently across the website, leaflets and class schedules.
This new look and written style was rolled out across posters, flyers, leaflets and advertising and also on a new responsive website and in ongoing social media content. In addition to the design elements of the campaign we also provided strategic marketing consultation, advised on media placement and ran Facebook advertising campaigns for DSDA.
